Release Images is the creative portfolio of Melbourne based photographer Luka Kauzlaric.
University trained, Luka has worked for both Australian and International clients providing everything from corporate headshots to elaborate photo essays that support advocacy campaigns. Luka is renowned for his passion and attention to detail.
In 2018, he was lead photographer on the 'Dollars & Sense' book project (link). The project, spearheaded by philanthropist and founder of Flight Centre Geoff Harris and authored by Neil Bramwell, highlighted the burgeoning field of social enterprise in Australia. Luka was tasked with documenting the hard work and characters within the field-leading organisations involved across Australia. In 2015 Luka won the 'Best Multimedia' award at the RPCV press awards in Melbourne. In collaboration with journalist Caleb Cluff the piece investigated the lives and stories of circus performers touring the country. In 2008, Luka travelled to Liciqua in East Timor to document the good work emanating from monies raised by his local council.
Luka has an eye for editorial photography and having previously worked for with Fairfax Media with his images regularly appeared across various national mastheads. Other past and present clients and companies include News Ltd, Corbis Images, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, New York Magazine, Monash University, AUSVEG, various local councils and private institutions.
